Overview

All members visiting The Forty Five Kensington Casino on Thursdays between the 9th May and 30th May 2024 (7pm - 10pm) will be eligible to participate in our “All in” Baccarat Tournaments for the chance to win 1st prize £1,250, 2nd prize £500, and 3rd prize £250 or entry into a 'Zero to Hero' draw.

All entries and redemption are subject to the following terms and conditions - please read the following carefully.

Baccarat Tournament Terms & Conditions

1. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
2. Promotion Starts - Thursday 9th May 2024
3. Promotion Ends - Thursday 30th May 2024
4. Tournaments will commence at 19:00 until 22:00 on Thursdays between 9th May and 30th May 2024.
5. There will be 4 separate Tournaments held in May 2024 - Summary of Tournament Dates/Times below:

8. Seat allocation will be determined at the discretion of the Tournament Official, depending on the level of demand.
9. Genting Casinos reserves the right to alter the format of the tournament or withdraw this promotion at any time and without notice due to circumstances beyond its control.

Conditions of Entry

10. Tournaments are free to enter. Players are limited to one free entry per Tournament.
11. This promotion is open to all Genting UK Members aged 18 years or over except employees of Genting Casinos Ltd, their families, agents or agencies and anyone else professionally connected to this promotion who are all precluded from participation.
12. To enter, you must be a Genting Casino customer and over the age of 18. Genting operates a challenge 25 policy, so please ensure that you bring your photographic ID with you.
13. All entrants may view the tournament terms and conditions prior to the commencement of the tournament and all entrants must abide by the terms and conditions or risk disqualification.
14. The Management of Genting Casinos reserve the right to refuse any pre-registration request for entry into a tournament and participation of any nominated substitute in any tournament.

How to enter

15. To enter players must register with the Tournament Official from 19:00 on the tournament day.
16. Final Registration for the tournament ends at 21:50.

Tournament Format

17. The Tournament Official will determine the allocation of players within the tournament and determine the allocation of players to a seat on the Tournament Baccarat table.
18. For each individual tournament, each participating player will be allocated a total £800 of tournament chips (which carry no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash)
19. Each player will individually be given 8 coups or until the player runs out of chips whichever occurs first to gain as many chips as possible. Players may bet as little or as much as they like on each hand (subject to table limits & game rules)
20. Players must place a wager on each coup.
21. For the purpose of this tournament only, “Banker” will be paid at odds of one-to-one (1/1).
22. At the end of each players turn their score will be recorded by the tournament host.
23. The participants who achieve the 3 highest end scores at the end of each tournament will be declared the tournament winners and will win the prizes as stated below subject Tie Break rules.
24. A leader board with all participants including their scores and player name (initial and surname) will be displayed in the Casino. (please speak to a member of management if you do not want your name to be displayed)
25. A 'Zero to Hero' Prize will be awarded via selection of a random prize draw - for all participating players who recorded a final Tournament score of Zero.
26. To be eligible for the 'Zero to Hero' Prize draw at 11pm on each Tournament date, the winner must be present in the building at the time of the draw. If the name drawn is not present, then another name from the Tombola will be drawn.

Table limits

27. Table limits will be displayed on the table and will be the same for the duration of each tournament.

29. Winners may be required to provide valid photographic identification to claim their prize.

Tie Break

32. In the event of a tie for one of the prize winnings positions then the prizes associated with those positions will be shared equally between tied players
33. For Example - If two players are tied for 1st place then the prize associated with 1st and 2nd position would be divided equally between those players. If 2 or more players are tied for 2nd position, then the prizes associated with 2nd and 3rd position would be divided equally between those players.

Conduct of Play

34. The Duty Manager may disqualify any player who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or whose behaviour is assessed as being detrimental to the integrity or the proper conduct of the tournament, including but not limiting to the following examples:
    1. Abuse of casino employees, either verbally or physically.
    2. Abuse of entrants, either verbally or physically.
35. Where a player does not take an allotted seat at the specified times as nominated by the tournament host/duty Manager then the player shall forfeit his/her place in the tournament.
36. Any disputes must be raised immediately with the Duty Manager.
37. Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or not covered by the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of the Duty Manager will be final subject to the Dispute Policy.

General Terms

38. The Promoters reserve the right to:
    1. Void any entries (and any prize if necessary) in the event of entrant misconduct, fraud, or breach of these terms;
    2. Amend, alter or terminate this promotion or any specific entries in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control; or
    3. Terminate any entry (including winning entries) where entrants are subject to any barring, suspension or self-exclusion.

Cost of Entry

13. Tournament is free to enter.
14. Players may only enter the tournament once (no re-buys).

Tournament Format

15. The Casino Operator may:
    1. Determine the allocation of players within the tournament.
    2. Determine the allocation of players to roulette tables.
16. The Chess Roulette Tournament format is as follows;
    3. Each Entrant will receive 16 x Chess Pieces every spin - each piece holding a different value (point 18).
    4. Participants will be entitled to 5 consecutive spins each during the tournament.
    5. The pieces represent NO cash value and are solely for the purpose of the tournament.
    6. For the first 4 spins participants must place each piece on “Straight Up” Betting Areas only (Maximum 1 piece per Number), - No Splits, Corners, Streets Six Lines, Columns, and Dozens, Even Chances or Race Track/Neighbour bets will be accepted.
       1. For the 5th and final spin additional betting areas will open; including Splits, Corners, Streets, Six Lines - as well as Straight Ups.
       2. No Even Chance, Column or Dozen betting areas available.
       3. No table maximums.
    7. Each player is required to bet all of their pieces every spin.
    8. Winning bets will be calculated as points and will be added towards a cumulative score for each player over the five spins.
    9. Scores will be recorded by the tournament official (standard roulette odds will apply to work out points achieved (value of a winning chess piece is not added to total points earnt; example, straight up winning pawn = 25x35 = 875 points awarded).
    10. All Scores will be calculated and confirmed by the dealer and tournament official. Customers will be informed individually upon the completion of their turn of their final points total.
    11. A leader board with all current qualifying participants including their highest score and player name (initial and surname) will be displayed in the Casino. (please speak to a member of management if you do not want your name to be displayed).
17. The participants with the top 3 highest scores at the end of the tournament window will be judged as the winners and receive the relevant corresponding prizes (1st / 2nd /3rd).
